Born in 1962 in the north of Sweden she studied Art and Animation at universities in Sweden and in Florence. She is an art teacher and is working since 10 years as an animation teacher in a post-secondary school. She lives with her family in Jönköping, Sweden.

Her animated student film, “Intervallo” made in -99, was shown at Giffoni and Montecatini among other festivals. At a festival in Poland she won the price of the public.

Bookstore is her first film in 20 years and was made together with her daughter Ofelia.
