Victor Checa is a peruvian director and screenwriter, he was born in Lima in 1986. His personal works as director have been screened in different film festivals and video exhibitions around the world. His first feature film, Tiempos Futuros (2021), premiered at the 25th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and has run in more than 30 festivals including Málaga, Guadalajara, Los Angeles, AFI, and won numerous awards, including the Jury Award mention at the Beijing International Film Festival in the Forward Future section.
